I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend J Scholastic is delayed until this Wednesday. Please send your orders in.

I am entering the marks I have so far on Edmodo. Using your PARENT CODE you have access to your child’s progress behaviourally and academically. You only have access to your child’s progress to ensure privacy.

*Each Monday, we will be working on a new Problem Solving strategy. Please use the problems we work on in class to as additional practice. Just change the numbers! There will be a short Problem Solving Quiz after each topic is covered. So far we have completed Guess and Check in the Problem Solving book. I will give practice questions in class this week and there will be a quiz on Friday.*

·        5 minute x-table tests will be held every Thursday.

Reading Comprehension:

I will be assigning one story from the Reading Comprehension activity book each English week. It will be due the Friday of that week.

This week’s story: Could Your Body Go to Mars pgs 10-13

Spelling:
Lesson 4 is due Friday – students will have time during the week to work on it in class.

Test is given with Lessons 6, 12 and 18 ONLY

Math:
We have completed Ch.1 in Prism, Ch. 2 will be completed this week. Test on Monday Oct.28.

Tuesday: Prism: pgs 34 & 36

Wednesday: Prism pgs 38 & 40

Thursday: Guess and Check Problem Solving Test tomorrow, Prism pg: 42
