UPDATE: Here are the dates of the upcoming Math tests:
Units 5-8 test Tuesday October 18
Term 1 Math exam Units 1-8
Wednesday October 26 and Thursday October 27

Hello Group 41! We have a short week due to Thanksgiving weekend. I am looking forward to hearing the Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing Oral presentations this week.

We will be having our second times table quiz this week. A percentage will go towards the first term report card. We will start with 50 equations in 10 minutes and work from there. Cards, computer games or using the agenda are all acceptable ways to practice, at least 5 minutes a night.

Sign in to Google Classroom at home and play the multiplication games.

We will have the first Language Power test on the Vocabulary unit (pgs 6-19) on Thursday October 13. I will correct the review pages (20&21) on Wednesday October 12.

Notes:
· Study x-tables, 5 minutes per night
· Please bring in a reusable water bottle every day.

Language Power:
Monday: pgs.15 & 16
Tuesday: pg.17
Wednesday: pgs.18 & 19
Thursday: pgs. 20 & 21 as review for test.
We will correct on Wednesday October 12 and the test will be on October 13.

Reading Comprehension:
Critters Cry for Help – due October 6. It has been worked on in class during the week. If incomplete, it becomes homework Wednesday night.

Spelling:
Lesson 3 – due October 6. It has been worked on in class during the week. If incomplete, it becomes homework Wednesday night. There are no weekly spelling tests. There will be one test per term using lessons 6, 12 &18.

Math: Make sure Math tests are signed.
Monday: stencil 1-6 (side 1)
Tuesday: stencil 1-6 (side 2)
Wednesday: stencil 1-7
Thursday: Math stencil
Wednesday Oct.12: stencil 1-8 (side 1)
Thursday Oct.13: stencil 1-8 (side 2)
