Welcome back group 41! We will be starting our next
unit in ELA: Poetry. I will be giving back the Math Theme 3 Exam on Wednesday.
In
our Numbers book, I will be changing Unit 22 (multiplication) to 2 digit by 2
digit multiplication. I will post videos on Google Classroom to help with the
steps.
Report Cards will be sent home by e-mail Thursday.
Portfolio/Parent’s Night will be Thursday March 2.
We will be going to the Cabane a Sucre on Friday. There are many
outdoor activities so please dress well and be sure all items of clothing are
labeled.
Upcoming Test Dates:
Spelling Test – Unit 12 on Thursday
Math Units 21-23 – Monday March 13
Keep studying those x-tables. I will be starting weekly division
fact quizzes as well. Cards, computer games or using the agenda are all
acceptable ways to practice, at least 5 minutes a night.

Reading Comprehension:
Farmer Ted – due February 23. It has been worked on in class during the week. If incomplete, it becomes homework Thursday night.
Spelling:
Unit 12 – due February 23. It has been worked on in class during the week. If incomplete, it becomes homework Thursday night. There are no weekly spelling tests. There will be one test per term using lessons 6, 12 &18.
Math: Make sure x-table test is signed.

Tuesday: 4-2 (side 1)
Wednesday: 4-2 (side 2)
Thursday: 4-3 (side 1) and work on
multiplication stencils
