Welcome back group 42! Please bring in outside shoes, it is quite
muddy out there. Friday is a ped.day. We
will be continuing our Poetry unit. We will be working on the review of Units 1-28
in our Numbers book. The end of year review exam will be May 15 & 16. I
will also be including the lessons I taught separately: Mean, Median, Mode and
Range, Mixed Numbers and Improper Fractions, as well as Measuring Angles.
Upcoming Test Dates:
Math Units 1-28 – test Monday May 15 and Tuesday May 16.
Keep studying those x-tables. We will be continuing weekly
division fact quizzes as well. Cards, computer games or using the agenda are
all acceptable ways to practice, at least 5 minutes a night.

Reading Comprehension:
The Contest – due May 4. It has been worked on in class during the week. If incomplete, it becomes homework Thursday night.
Spelling:
Unit 16 – due May 4. It has been worked on in class during the week. If incomplete, it becomes homework Thursday night. There are no weekly spelling tests. There will be one test per term using lessons 6, 12 &18.
Math: Make sure x-table test is signed.
