Dear parents,

June Scholastic order is here. You can pick it up at the office Friday June 21 until 1pm and Tuesday to Friday next week between 9am-12pm.

June 17-19

It is the last week for Group 43!

Notes:

·       Please send in a rag or sponge on Tuesday for desk cleaning.  

·       I hope you looked through the portfolios sent home on Friday. It will give you an idea what to expect when the report card comes home on Wednesday June 19.

·       Dress down day on Wednesday, 2$. We will end off the year enjoying the Variety Show and playing games in class.

Let me take this opportunity to thank all my students and parents for making this a wonderful school year. All the students have worked hard and grown up before my eyes.  It was an honor teaching each and every one of them and I hope they had a rewarding school year.

Health, happiness and lots of fun this summer to one and all!

June 10-14

It is a busy but fun week for Group 43!

Notes:

·    You may send in SCHOLASTIC tomorrow.

·    Monday is Hill-Lympics Sports Day

·    Wednesday - Cycle 2 College Montmorency field trip: wear Hillcrest Gym uniform, bring a towel, bathing suit empty plastic bag as well as a lunch in a disposable bag.

·    Friday June 14 at 1:30pm parents are invited to attend the cycle 2/3 Music Concert.

·    The warm weather is here! Please send in a reusable water bottle every day!

·       Library is over for the year. If you have library books at home, please return them ASAP

·       We will be SLOWLY bringing home our copybooks and duo tangs. Portfolios will be sent home on Friday. Look through them so you know what to expect when the report card comes home on Wednesday June 19.

Grade 4 Math Exams

·        Your child will discuss their progress with you. Exams are not sent home. The June Math exam will not be counted on the report card this year; the marks are based on class tests, quizzes, class/homework.

Fraction Test on Tuesday from Nelson, Prism and Class Stencils

June 3-7

This week we will be completing fractions and decimals. We will complete the School Board Math exam and class Problem Solving test.

Notes:

• Monday is Hill-Lympics Sports Day: dress in active-wear with running shoes and send in a reusable water bottle! BBQ lunch provided. (In case of rain, it will be moved to Tuesday.)
