Please note, the situational problem (on 30) was guided by me. Since it is the first term, I reviewed the steps with them and sent them back to their seats at least two times each to review errors. The Rubric shows the actual grade they received for the guidance. The end of year School Board exams are marked similarly.

Please check the blog entry entitled: Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing Project. It will be a fun bonding experience between students and parents. It will be due Thursday October 30. 

There will be the Section 5-8 Math test this Friday. I will return the corrected tests on Monday October 20 and post the grades on Edmodo. That way it will be clear what areas need to worked on for the Math Theme 1 exam (Tuesday Oct.28). I am assigning Math Workbook pages 46-53 to be completed as a review for the Theme 1 exam.
