We are already entering the month of May! This week we start the Learning and Evaluation Situation entitled Shoes. It will be worked on for the next 2 weeks.

Notes:

• Library is every Thursday
• We will be reducing our Multiplication/Division quiz time to 3 minutes 30 seconds, keep practicing!

For Language Power:

Since there are only the Final Reviews in the Language Power, we will wait to complete them. This week we will add one Happy 100 Problem each night in its place.

Reading Comprehension:
The One Inch Boy – was due today

Spelling:
Spelling lesson #14 is due Monday May 6

Test is given with Lessons 6, 12 and 18 ONLY.

Math:

Be sure you signed the test on Measurement, Conversions, Perimeter and Area

We will now be working on Capacity, Mass, Volume,  Time and Temperature. I will be picking lessons from Prism chapters 11,14,15 as well as Nelson chapters 5,11.

There will be a test on Wednesday May 8 on those lessons.

Happy 100 Problems #s 16-19 due Friday.

Tuesday: Work on problem Solving

We have a busy, short week ahead of us! Please note that our school yard is very wet. Rain boots or a second pair of shoes is necessary.

This week we will watch Charlotte’s Web and continue viewing our in class project on pigs and spiders. The students really did a great job!

• Monday is Earth Day and the whole week is READING WEEK!

• Friday is a ped. day
• Our Botanical Gardens field trip is on Tuesday

Send a lunch in a disposable plastic bag and wear the school uniform with running shoes
