I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend J This Thursday is Halloween (2$ donation for the free dress from last week,) and the students are allowed to come in costume. Please do not send candies in. HASA will be providing a treat to all the kids.

I am entering the marks I have so far on Edmodo. Using your PARENT CODE you have access to your child’s progress behaviourally and academically. You only have access to your child’s progress to ensure privacy.

*Each Monday, we will be working on a new Problem Solving strategy. Please use the problems we work on in class to as additional practice. Just change the numbers! There will be a short Problem Solving Quiz after each topic is covered. This week is Draw a Picture in the Problem Solving book. I will give practice questions in class this week and there will be a quiz on *Monday November 25.*

Notes:

·        5 minute x-table tests will be held every Thursday.

I will be assigning one story from the Reading Comprehension activity book each English week. It will be due the Friday of that week.

Spelling:
Lesson 5 is due Thursday – students will have time during the week to work on it in class.

Test is given with Lessons 6, 12 and 18 ONLY
