Group 42

Please check the first blog entry for September entitled Welcome Groups 41 & 42, if you haven’t already done so.

On Tuesday the students will be bringing home their Prism book and Language Power. Please ensure they are labeled on the front cover. They will be stored in my classroom during French week.

Please use the EDMODO link on my blog to learn about this wonderful educational site I am using with my students. By Friday, all students will be able to log in from home and you will find a PARENT CODE on their page. Use it to join my class and you will have access to your child’s progress behaviourally and academically. You only have access to your child’s progress to ensure privacy.

For those who haven’t, read through pages PE 8, 12 and 13 in the agenda tonight. Sign all the appropriate areas. Thank you!

Notes:

·        Please bring in a reusable water bottle every day.

·        Hot lunches start September 16

·        Curriculum Night will be held Thursday September 19. I will discuss our program and give insights into our daily class life.

Reading Comprehension:

Starts week of September 23

Spelling:
Lesson 1 is due Friday – students will have time during the week to work on it in class.

Test is given with Lessons 6, 12 and 18 ONLY

Math:
This week we are working on grade 3 review and we are starting Patterns in Nelson.
