I hope everyone had a great weekend! This week we will be working on the English Learning and Evaluation Situation. Attendance every day is important.

Today we had the Problem Solving Work Backwards Quiz. We will start the other problems in class this week.

Notes:

·        5 minute x-table tests will be held every Thursday.

Reading Comprehension:

I will be assigning one story from the Reading Comprehension activity book each English week. It will be due the Friday of that week.

This week’s story: The Contest (due Friday)

Spelling:
Lesson 17 is due Friday – students will have time during the week to work on it in class.

Test is given with Lessons 6, 12 and 18 ONLY

Math:  There will be a Math Quiz on Tuesday May 20^th on the following topics: Probability (Prism pgs 213-214), Area & Perimeter (Prism: 173-176 & 191-194), Measurement, Capacity & Weight conversions, temperature and time (Prism Chapters 14&15).

Monday: Prism pg. 199 (complete)

Tuesday: Nelson pg. 47

Wednesday: Prism pgs 196&198

Thursday: Nelson stencil pg 64
Friday: incomplete classwork - Prism and Nelson stencils
