Group 42

Welcome back group 42! Spring has arrived! The yard is muddy; please remember your rain boots or outside shoes.

Field Trip: This Wednesday we will be going to our Field Trip to the Botanical Gardens. Buses will leave promptly at 9:15. Students must come dressed in their school uniform wearing their outdoor shoes. Lunch must be in a labeled, disposable lunch bag. Due to allergies, no berries of any kind for Wednesday. Only disposable cameras will be allowed on the trip.

This week in Math we will continue Theme 4. We will begin learning about rounding natural numbers and decimals, as well as composite, prime and square numbers. We will be presenting our Inventions this week as well.

We will continue x-table tests at 4 minutes and including a division quiz (6 minutes.) X-TABLES MUST BE MEMORIZED.

Notes:

·        x-tables, 5 minutes per night; Multiplication and Division Quiz every Thursday.

·        TCBY this Wednesday

·        Please bring in a reusable water bottle every day.
