Welcome back group 41! Theme 1 Math exam grades are on Edmodo. Sign and return. Please note, the situational problem (on 30) was guided by me. Since it is the first term, I reviewed the steps with them and sent them back to their seats to review errors. The Rubric shows the actual grade they received for the guidance. The end of year School Board exams are marked similarly.

The marks found on Edmodo can give you an idea of what you can expect on the report card next week. Keep in mind the average found is simply for those graded activities and tests. It does not include their class work, group/class participation and homework.

Requests for Parent/Teacher night will be sent home this week.

Notes:

·        Study x-tables, 5 minutes per night, results must improve weekly

·        Please bring in a reusable water bottle every day.

Edmodo:

Play the Geometry games using the link posted on Edmodo.

Try: 2D Shapes Jeopardy, 2D Shapes Game(Concentration), Polygon or Not, Types of Polygons, Angles Jeopardy, Polygon Game, Basic Shapes Game.

Spelling:
Lesson #6 is due Friday November 13 – students have had time during the week to work on it in class. Spelling test on Lesson 6 this Friday.
